Designed for individuals with minimal shoulder strength, the O540 can be immediately adjusted by the user to meet their needs. The O540 is a powered arm support that attaches to your motorized wheelchair.
Using O540’s mechanical compensation system enables you to gain the ability to do daily activities such as eating and drinking, brushing your hair and teeth, putting on glasses, pushing light switches and elevator buttons, etc. The device is specifically designed for power wheelchair users who have limited strength in their arms and shoulders, or for those who can only use their muscular strength for a limited time.
With O540 you can:
Eat and drink
Shake hands
To carry out activities of daily living such as combing hair or washing your face
“I remember how long Kyle tried to get the O540 powered arm support, and the battlewe had – with multiple appeals – to get it done. More than that, I remember the DIFFERENCE in his life once he had it. The first thing he asked, when I put him in his wheelchair was, “Would you put my arm on?” After a few weeks, he couldn’t imagine life without it. He was able to eat, open doors, reach for things, grab the remote, and so many other things he had lost over many years prior. This device was a LIFE CHANGER for him!”
